As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, CAPA’s annual Festival Latino event canceled in-person events. The event quickly shifted to a week-long virtual festival, called ¡Viva Festival Latino!
¡Viva Festival Latino! entailed collaboration with various Latinx organizations to curate an array of engaging video and digital content. This collection included cooking demonstrations, dance lesson videos, live concerts, and more.
The website for ¡Viva Festival Latino! was thoughtfully designed to ensure accessibility and inclusivity. It seamlessly integrated translation-ready content, granting patrons the choice to experience the festival in either English or Spanish, thus catering to a wider audience.
