Memorial Day 5K Race T-Shirt
I had the privilege of designing and illustrating the commemorative t-shirt for the National Veterans Memorial and Museum’s 2023 Memorial Day Race. This highly anticipated event offers participants the opportunity to engage in a 5K run, walk, ruck, or roll as a tribute to the men and women who have lost their lives protecting our freedoms.
Drawing upon my artistic expertise, I carefully crafted an impactful visual that resonates with participants and embodies the spirit of remembrance. On the back of the t-shirt, a special area has been dedicated for attendees to personally inscribe the name of the loved one they wish to honor. This heartfelt touch allows participants to carry the memory and legacy of their cherished service member as they take part in this memorable event.
Through my design and illustration efforts, I aimed to create a meaningful and visually compelling t-shirt that serves as a symbol of unity and remembrance, fostering a sense of pride and reverence among participants of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum’s Memorial Day Race.
